I had a co-worker who was, shall we say, not the most moral person. He was a born-again-Christian. When I questioned him on his behavior, he said “All I have to do is ask forgiveness on my death bed.” I said “that’s great, unless someone shoos you in the back of the head.”He was forced to resign and later died of a drug overdose. I hope he had the chance to get right with God.

Insurance is no good for the individual, it is for those family members left behind, but in this instance they probably won’t pay out.

The fire insurance, in this case, refers to Jesus’ salvation. If he repents from his life decisions and turns his life around, then heaven awaits.
