I’m with Abby. If it’s not broke, then no need to fix or replace it. Especially if you’ve only just finished paying it off—savor that victory just a little longer, eh?

My 2004 Element and my 1994 Ford F-150 are still going.

My car turns 11 this year. Maintenance is a LOT cheaper than a car payment.

We have 3 paid for cars in the driveway.

Much better to see clearly. Better no obstacles.

Unfortunately my 1994 Mazda B3000 finally gave up the ghost last year. And now, the 2017 Dodge Journey I have, I hope to be able to keep as long. And now, I have a payment. :-( One year down (with extra going towards the principle), 4 left to go.

Maybe the family could get one of those electric cars.
