Twenty years ago, we rented a DitchWitch™ to run a trench for a new water line. The trench ran parallel to our fence for about 80 feet. While my wife and I connected and buried the street end of the line, one of our Springer Spaniels (Tessa) decided she was displeased with her humans not paying her much attention. When we made it back to the house, Tessa was completely covered with Tennessee red clay/mud from the ditch. Couldn’t see one bit of fur.

My wife fussed at her and told her to go get in the tub. She went straight to the bathtub, and hopped in, waiting.

Actually, I did. Oddly enough, it gets warmer too. Thanks for sharing though.

If you hit a sinkhole; things can get very deep, very fast. Never mind how I know this.

Knowing that weird area they live in between the Unseelie hive and the portal where giant raptors come from, I wonder if she might dig too deep and unearth a ghoul den or maybe a cave full of white translucent blind spiders and leeches.

Age old advice: When you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.
