Reminds of Mrs Moss, 8th grade science teacher. She was a red head from Texas. Stood about 5 ft tall. One day a student asked her, “I thought things were big in Texas, what happened to you?” She went off like a firecracker. Now that she was waving her arms all around another student chimed in with “Mrs Moss? Can you talk without using your hands?” Mrs Moss stood there a moment, walked over to her stool, sat down on her hands and said “Yes……uh, umm, ahhhh……”She then stood up and said “NO! I can”t”. Every one laughed, even Mrs M. Class progressed as normal from there.
