Here is my take, Lennie: I think by being specific about Mass Ave in ‘Boston’, which is well know for being a bit, how should I put it? ‘Bouncy’ your male followers agreed. If on the other hand you specified Mass Ave in Cambridge, it would have indicated ‘smooth’ and ‘silky’. This might have had more Appeal to the lady in the comic strip.

Mass Ave. seems not to have changed at all since I was driving it in the 60s. Probably the same potholes
