The one good thing about the pandemic was all the people on my facebook feed who decided to learn how to groom their own dogs. So many adorably bad haircuts. It really cheered me up. Probably the dogs didn’t feel the same way, lol!
I am teaching myself how to cut my own hair. I did a REALLY bad haircut in November one year, and I didn’t try again until the following year’s December. This month, I made a disaster of it again. Par for the course.
Once I developed a significant “bald spot” on my head I went from hair long enough to part to a buzz cut. It then took me a while to realize I didn’t need a barber to do the buzz cut but I could do it myself at home with my own electric clippers.

Once I saw I was becoming “follicly challenged” on top I went to a buzz cut which I now do myself with a Norelco beard trimmer.
