Big Nate, The mystery of locker 232, Part 9

“Guys, we need to unlock that locker, and the only way to do that is get a key that opens it, right? If we can’t find the key to locker 232, the only other way to open it is using the key from the office. That’s right guys, I’m gonna steal the master key.”

“Nate.” Francis said, the most skeptically you have ever heard anyone say anything.

“What on God’s green Earth makes you think that’s a good idea, and how will you do it?”

“It’s simple,” Nate said.

“All I need to do is get called to the office, and then one of you is going to go outside and bang on the window of Mr. Nichols’ office. While he is focused on that, I will steal the master key off of his desk!”

“And hey!” Francis said, sarcastically, “What could possibly go wrong?” (Vocal cameo from Big Nate: What could possibly go wrong?)

“Shut up, Francis,” Nate said “I suppose you have a better idea?”

“Well, for starters,” said Francis. “The countless times you’ve been to Mr. Nichols’ office clearly hasn’t helped you remember that IT’S ON THE SECOND FLOOR!”

“Ohhhh yeah,” Nate said stupidly. “Just one of you has to throw a couple of rocks at the window or something.”

“Great idea,” Francis said. “Shut up, scrub.” Teddy said. “It might be a horrible idea, but it’s all we’ve got! I’ll throw the rock, Nate.”

When the bell rang, the five of them walked to their seventh period study hall, in the library.

Nate and Teddy worked out the details on the way.

Nate knew the best way to get in trouble on purpose is to be spontaneous about it.

He took a book off a shelf and threw it at a book sitting on a stand. The books hit the floor loudly, and the plastic stand snapped in half. This was good.

“Nate Wright!” The study hall monitor yelled. “What is wrong with you?!”

“Are you going to send me to the principal’s office?” Nate asked, looking over at Teddy and Francis and smirking.

“No, I’m going to send you to detention,” She said.

Continued tomorrow…

Time to retire!! The main guys are gone, so let’s revamp Big Nate (more about this on Monday; I’ll be gone for the week!)

My Observation: Ever since Crc was taken down and the koff trolls killed the comment section, the comment section was peaceful and all people are doing are telling people meanings to stuff, complaining and talking about the dead comment section

Honestly this comment section was so much more fun when spammers were around, now its all just dry and there is nothing to do anymore, yall ruined it for yourself

The arc is gonna turn out like this: Nate keeps saying how this idea is amazing, Principal Nichols comes along and questions about it and ends it, leaving Nate complaining about it in the last strip.
