Favorite story from a former major leaguer. (I think it was Bob Brenly, and it occurred when he was in AAA) He was at the plate and the first pitch is outside, 1 -0. Second pitch looks the same but is called a strike. Bob says to the ump, “How is that a strike? It was the same spot as the first one!” “OK” says the ump, “count is 0 and 2.” “You can’t do that” says Bob. The umpire grins and said “I just did.”
Moral of the story is be careful about how you complain.

The ballplayer “. . . just won’t let it go!” Taking lessons from Donald Trump?
I hope that comment won’t upset people over the injection of politics into a seemingly non-political comic. I call ’em as I see ’em.
