I have friends with a solar house and panels to charge their Tesla. But they were green before people knew what that was so they aren’t smug.

The cost of everything is going to keep going up. Energy, food, everything. Worry less about other people thinking you’re ‘smug’ and more about how you’ll be able to take care of yourself with no retirement savings if you don’t find alternatives now…

my next car will an EV …. i hate the smell of gasoline …. and plugging in at home would be way cool

When will the Auto Companies just put the Solar Panels on the cars to charge them with.

The average gas price was $3.40 a gallon at the end of 2022. It shot up to $4.30 after Putin’s War started but has since dropped to $3.90… at least where I live.

Remember when gas cost a dollar? Those were the good old days. Well, if you figure in inflation, that $3.90 you’re paying now is the equivalent of $1.11 in 1980 money. And the average cost of gas in 1980 was $1.19 per gallon.

On other words, gas is still really cheap.

Saving the planet makes you a smug jerk. They are the smug jerks not you.
