I have lived on this farm since the early 60’s and we had no coyotes in SW Pennsylvania. We are overrun with them now, they are everywhere. Rumor has it that the Game Commision brought them in back in the early 2000’s to help control the deer population. As a result, it’s rare to see any small game now and I can’t free range my chickens anymore.

They aren’t urban because they want to be. Humans moved into their territory.
