Beginning in early 2019, I started getting late charges on a bunch of different bills over several months. Whenever I called them, they said they had never received my checks—but I had always mailed them at the post office. So I gave up and finally started paying online, and now I never trust the post office to deliver anything.

Those late charges are killers, as are the interest rates.
