When I was on shore-duty in the Navy we had a guy who always claimed he had to take his wife to the hospital every Friday when we were working evenings. After I was become the LPO I asked him for the name of the hospital so I could verify his claim and explained what was going to happen if I found he’d been lying all that time. He never tried that again.
We had an admin assistant who claimed doctor’s appointment every Friday afternoon. The manager got suspicious and found on investigation that she was dating a doctor.

the secretary of a specialist i was seeing called me up to ask if i wanted to go out with her. i don’t know whether that was a violation of medical ethics, but, given who she was calling, it certainly showed an extreme lack of sense…
