Overcast and foggy. This is a recording. Three days in a row, oy. Oh yah, 64 degrees. Clearing to partly cloudy by the afternoon, slight chance of a shower or two. Yesterday morning was pretty good, then the afternoon came. Kind’a darkened down, then the eves would start dripping, and then start running, slow up, stop, do it all over again. (O.O)
Nothing on the calendar for today so, I’ll take it on the easy side and enjoy.
And I suggest you also enjoy the day, may God go along with you.
It’s gonna be another scorcher today, though not as bad as yesterday. We got up to 109 on the patio. Today’s forecast is for 101 and it’s 93 already. I skipped my walk this morning because it was already over 90 when I got up.
After the prayer group yesterday morning, I went over to Walmart for a long walk. I just walked up and down aisles on 3 sides of the store and had cheerful conversations with several people. I ended up buying only 1 magazine after all that. (I did see several things that might be useful, but not pushing a cart, I ignored them.)
When I got home, I joined other board members in a walk-around with a new landscaping contractor. After all that walking at Walmart, it was too much for me. Between the heat and too much exercise, I almost collapsed. One of the other board members walked me home to be sure I made it. After sitting down at home with a fan and a bottle of cold water, I felt much better but it took almost an hour. That’s the first time I’ve ever done that and don’t particularly want to do it again. I even had Michael worried.
Oh, and by the end of the day, between an early walk with Michael, the Walmart trip and tramping all over the community, I had set a personal best on my pedometer.
another wonderful day yesterday at only 82! woo hoo!!
went for my yearly dermatology exam. unfortunately, she found two moles she cut off to biopsy. nothing serious if they are cancerous. just painful for the next few days.
