Who would have thunk Betty would be a mean drunk?

Crazy as ever

These two gals surely deserve to be best pals.

A mean drunk? Color me surprised.

Maybe that’s why we claim not to remember what we said while drunk. Sometimes it’s harder to be honest with ourselves about what we’re feeling, because then that might require something to change. Like Betty might have to let go of a “friendship” that no longer serves her, and get out and make new friends. That’s hard.

And so slips the veil of civilization and the true personality of Betty emerges.

I look forward ( /s ) to a future in which cultural (more generally, identity) appropriation has been abolished. Only Black and Latinas will be allowed to wear hoop earings—and no other kinds. Jews will have to eat boiled chicken instead of General Tso’s, but only Jews will be allowed to wear Levi Strauss’s denims. Only female authors will be allowed to write works with female characters, and vice-versa for male authors. The possibilities for political correctness are endless.

She’s kind of a mean sober and definitely a mean drunk.
