Hmmm! I knew a neighbor like this…came as soon as she saw my husband leave for work, and stayed til 5:00 pm. Brought her annoying little brat with her. I just did what I had to do around the house and she still didn’t take the hint. When she fell asleep in the living room chair, that was IT! I woke her and told her it’s time to go! The next day, I had a friend stop in and the neighbor knocked on the door and I did NOT answer it. Sooo, the next thing I knew, was she was peering into my back window and saw us sitting on the couch. We ignored her completely and that did it! She never came again! I was 25 years old then and didn’t want to hurt her feelings….live and learn..!!!
“Grandma just called and said you’re supposed to go home….she doesn’t want you here when she gets back because you’ve been ruining everybody’s lives and eating all our steak.” :)
