Well, I tried two supermarkets and neither or them had the Evian Sparkling Water. Sigh! The majority of businesses will be closed on Monday due to Her Majesty’s State Funeral. It’s going to be a very sad day. So I will definitely not be going out on Monday.

I took this photo of myself on Tuesday after I had started my new volunteer job. I’m ever so proud of it. It was taken on my Samsung (which is now my main phone as the screen is a lot better) instead of the useless camera on the Alcatel that doesn’t have an auto focus.

Huh….always thought of Cheeseburgers as being more of an American thing (and maybe Canadian)….and yes…I have eaten in McDonald’s in Germany….but I figured it would be more Fish and Chips in England…just like the Germans (Well, WEST Germans) liked their Schnitzels or Bratwursts and Pomme Frites in the old days. Live and learn.

Rainy days can be quite nice. I find it quite pleasant to look outside the window at raindrops falling. I’ll gladly take the pitter patter of rain over the deathly silence of snow.
