@Number Three Today strip IS funny Our HERO Mr Andrew Capp’ views agreeing with the Vicars is classical :o) my avatar again is a picture of our fav actor Rowan Atkinson as Mr Been grinning because he’s in a good mood like I am :o0How was your day? our MANIC MONDAY should be a little busy but we will cope I hope , we both are in a good mood no shopping or errands to run just stay inside the house and keep hydrated , till this evening when the greengrocer van comes up our street , keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady
Just what is Andy stepping on to? Grass? Water? Dirt? Doesn’t seem to have the correct ‘texture’ for pavement…. And the poor Vicar reached into his wardrobe and pulled out his purple suit again! Is there a colour-blindness for purple?
One of my favorites (and maybe Eldo could find it for us?) involving the Vicar went summat like this: Flo has invited him to dinner, and warns Andy not to embarrass her. The Vicar comments on the strange weather lately: so cold one day and then so warm the next. Andy replies: “I was just tellin’ Florrie that. Yer don’t know WHAT to pawn!”
Today is the Queen’s State Funeral and the majority of places are closed. This includes supermarkets too. I personally don’t have any problem with it because it didn’t disrupt my day in any way. Everything will be back to normal tomorrow though. I will be at the supermarket to have one last look for that Evian Sparkling Water.
I’m also purchasing bottles of Lucozade Pink Lemonade because they currently have a competition going on. It started at the beginning of July and ends on Halloween so I’ve missed out on a chunk of it. I entered yesterday but sadly didn’t win any cash prizes or coupons. It doesn’t matter though, it’s my favourite drink. So to me it’s not a waste of money. For example I don’t drink Red Bull and I wouldn’t buy them just to enter any competitions they were running. That would be a waste of money.
Tomorrow I’m at my new volunteer job again (It’s flew over) and on Wednesday I’m at my other one as well as the carvery afterwards. Yes! So when I comment on Wednesday, it’ll be from the carvery. Should be a great week for me. I hope it’s exactly the same for you as well.
Stay safe, stay well, stay cool and stay happy, pal.

Much as I detest Capp, IMHO, that “holier-than-thou” Vicar can be just as insufferable!!

Man has got to know his limitations (Dirty Harry). And Andy does.

The Vicar has heard summat about Andy’s antics, but how? Could he be (gasp!) partaking in gossip? BAD vicar!

I’m surprised he didn’t duck into the pub, must be one he’s banned from.

If I’m completely honest, I don’t wish to hear people’s views on on my life either. If I want opinions, I’ll ask for them.

The vicar could benefit from a few lessons in salesmanship.

In comics why does the forefinger always go up when someone voices their opinion?
