So everyone’s hopes hang on you, why does that make you selfish? It would only make you selfish if you didn’t care.

Looks like Hubbs’ arm is doing better at least, apparently self-reflection is a better painkiller than painkillers, big pharma isn’t gonna like that secret getting out.

I had the impression Hubbs did confront her, and she ignored him.

Hubbs… You’ve dreamt of playing professional football ever since you were an eight years old. Circumstances were not in your favour then, but you still had the weekend games at the park with your friends.

Then you finally married the girl of your dreams. However, much to everyone’s disappointment, she expected you to give up on your dream. She broke your heart… and everyone else’s.

Not everyone gets the chance to live their childhood dream, but you did. Yes, you had to leave home to do it, but it paid off. You saved a team that was about to be written off as though it never existed. You led them all the way to the Supper Bowl, something every football player dreams of. And the money you made, you used it to support your family. If only your wife had the good sense to realize that. It would also help if your closest friends were a bit more supportive and not so easily distracted.

Nevertheless… The first thing you need to do right now is win this game, which will make a lot of people, including us commentators, proud. Then, you need to talk to your wife. Once she understands that you’re the source of he newfound wealth, she’ll finally see what a wonderful husband/father you’ve been all this time.

Put Ellie in a cheer outfit and motivate him!
