Fox bassoons and contrabassoon are the best bassoons and contrabassoons made in Indiana. And MMI and Forrest’s sell the best. Kronwalt makes a great contrabassoon that can be taken apart and fitted in a special bag and transported as a carryon. And it sounds great.

I’ll be playing a King 3BF at a big band concert tomorrow. The lead player has a 2B Silversonic.

Why the need for more than one trombone, plus maybe a backup because you play professionally which I presume you already have from early days. Never understood why guitar players seem to “collect” instruments of the same type. I have 2 flutes but only play one. Yes, 3 total wind synths, but electronic failures on older technology is a real thing so I always carry 2.
