I work nights, and my wife wakes me in the evening
If she’s more than 10 minutes or so late for some reason, Boots paws at my feet until I wake up
Dad will try and calm her down after he cleans himself up. :)

My bedroom has a door that shuts. It keeps dogs out.
Dougie says “BAK”, that’s a hard pass.
