Charity begins at home for Poncho!

well, Chaz, what do you expect Poncho to do?

My wife and I laugh when we see an ad on TV showing a pooch happily getting their nails trimmed with the latest gizmo.

Is getting your nails clipped really that painful?

Priorities-

Parental units tried that with me just once. I said send it! I even boxed it for them. Grounded, again.

When we had dogs, it was well worth the price to take them to the groomer to get their nails trimmed. The groomers were very good at it, and the dogs just seemed to hold still better for them. (They also had those sling things to hold them safely if they didn’t hold still). Needing a torn nail trimmed at home required both hubby and me holding the struggling, wiggling, panicked dog still, and we mostly had miniature dachshunds, LOL!

Nice twist on the cliche, Mr. Gilligan.

I’ve finally figured it out: Poncho is the Calvin of dogs!
