Our cats trash the house whether we are home or not

It’s not very often the house is completely empty of humans, I think they might behave better when we are gone because it weirds them out

Oh, they know we’re going away before the suitcase is even out, I think. They sense it somehow!

You said not to destroy it while you’re gone. You didn’t say anything about not destroying it while you’re still here…

You might want to get the toilet paper off the roll.

To be fair, Lennie did say not to do it while he was gone. Letter of the law.
