My son gave me a copy of “My Utmost For His Highest” by Oswald Chambers. I’ve been wanting one for years and he gave me a really nice edition. Michael gave me what I asked for: something to do rather than something to have, a couple of crafts and some of the supplies and tools to go with them. I’m looking forward to them.
We gave Mike a sword for his collection, a rapier. We got it last fall at the Renaissance Fair. He’s thrilled with it.
I found a very unusual clock for Michael on eBay, and he’s thrilled with that, too. I’d describe it but that would take up way too much space here other than to say it isn’t quite an antique, but they are no longer made.
My great-granddaughter started Kindergarten this year and her mom sent me her school photo. She’s so cute, she’s smiling and giving the camera a thumbs up. Pretty good for a girl who could barely communicate last year because of autism. She’s getting the proper treatment and is doing so much better.
It’s a beautiful day outside again. We got up to 68 yesterday, pretty nice for the end of December. We expect 65 today and then it jumps to almost 70 tomorrow.

Happy Boxing Day Vagbonds
There was 18 on the old thermometer at the time of my making coffee. An overcast day, some flurries high 24.
I got a shirt and some much needed suspenders to hold my pants up. Andy and I got mugs for coffee marked from Santa.
One more week left in the year, can anyone tell me, where did it go?
