Our paper printed a picture upside down. I called them out on it. It was a picture of the Airforce Thunderbirds in the pass where one plane is right side up and the other was upside down. They had the sunny side down and shadow side up.
A typographic error happens when someone incorrectly types something correct, not quite the same as a grammatical error, which happens when someone accurately types something incorrect. “Hte” for “The” is a typo; “they’re” for “their” is a grammatical error. For most people, the latter kind of error is repeatable. (I suppose that confusing the two is actually another example of an error, so it’s correct in the context of the strip.)

You’re gonna need a whole Grammar Weimar Republic for this one.

Who am I to mock a typo, when I have created so many myself, they are my legacy.

I’m OK with typos, I’ve made my share and then some
I was surprised a few months back reading a book by one of my favorite authors
I caught more errors in that one book than in any average dozen that I read

There’s always errors…no matter how many times they proofread‼️
