This happened to my husband on his way to work @ 4am. Black ice on the bridge spun him completely around. Luckily, no one else was on the bridge at that hour. (This was many years ago.)
The bridge had a grating type surface and it was snowing and I was going slow. The idiot behind me passed and I watched him spin in front of me like Monty. No, ice and snow are NOT slippery and I guess I am an idiot for believing it!! Luckily I could stop before hitting him.
