How much the world has changed in the last 20 years, particularly the last four. How much has been lost in that time. I can’t keep up with what is IN and what is not; IN today, and forgotten tomorrow. Exciting but sad in many ways.
We have a dance hall in my town. They had dances every Friday before Covid. With just the D.J. it’s $10. If they bring in a swing band, it’s $15 and about 50% more people show up. I much prefer the D.J. because he can play a nice mixture of swing, fox trot, waltz and more. The bands are usually all swing, all night.
