I won’t shoot anyone, setting the good example that there are other ways to resolve issues. Just sit there & read the funny pages until you think of something or the problem goes away.
He’d set a better example by NOT wearing a necktie. Knotting a useless and uncomfortable piece of fabric around your throat simply because it’s enforced by the tyranny of custom is long overdue for reassessment.
Don’t get me wrong, those who CHOOSE to wear neckties should be indulged, like those men who still wear “proper” hats (i.e. not ballcaps), but there are plenty of ways for men to be “well-dressed” without symbolic strangulation.
