Your dad doesn’t have to grow up if he doesn’t want to Ginger.
Ginger hasn’t grown up in 102 years.
Over the past few days there have been some letters in The West Australian about the Americanisation of the Australian language. Today we find the quintessentially aussie kid using gotten rather than got.
Ginger has been around (in this comic strip) for about a century, and still hasn’t grown up. He hasn’t even aged a year.
So is Ginger just like Oskar in tin Drum?
Ginger was one of Phryne Fisher’s favourite comic strips when she got back from the war.
