You go to Priceline/Expedia/Booking.Com tell them what you want, sort by price, then call the airline (or hotel) directly and ask if they’ll pricematch if the direct price isn’t the same. That way you avoid the extra layer of trouble if you have to reschedule, or cancel, and you don’t end up with hidden fees. Same goes for booking hotel rooms.
