When I taught Anatomy & Physiology, I’d do a demonstration with a blender of what happens in our stomachs when we eat something. I’d let the blender run for a few seconds, switch it off and say to the students, “You know all those cooking shows where they tell you that what it looks like on the plate is just as important as how it tastes? Well…” then switch the blender on again. “Another Hollywood illusion shattered!”
