Keeps him out of the canal.

Andy is so drunk he could crash a stationary bike!

Other than to trip up Andy, those things are useless. 20 seconds on one showing off does nothing

A painter could do a portrait of Andy in that machine.

on a bright note, you don’t have to drag him from the canal with such obstacles – I hope.

For Andy, an outside gym is simply an exercise in futility!

It’s the most exercise he’s had in years.

Mr Capp is the only person to ride a stationary exercise bike into a canal.

They cropped up in a park near the house. In a few months time they were damaged or filthy or both. Another waste of tax money.

I know it’s comic, but that’s sad.

Just leave him there; at least you’re not fishing him out of the canal.

Now that he’s hung up, it’s not a bad place for Andy to dry out…

Wouldn’t they rust?

Could happen to anybody. Like, I haven’t noticed those outside gyms popping up everywhere either

Tough obstacle course for Andy?

Andy will be a rich man with the right lawyer.

It symbolizes his life, going nowhere.

Well it helps him from falling in the canal

Might turn out to be even worse than that infuriating canal.

At least it keeps him out of the canal

I didn’t even know outdoor gyms were a thing. I can’t imagine they’re any fun when it’s raining.

When Andy dies, he should donate this liver to medical science.

Extricating himself from the device would be enough of a workout for Andy. Don’t forget that his regular exercise program includes the effort required to drag himself off the couch to go to the pub, and (obviously) bending his elbow.

well, at least those contraptions keep Andy away from the canal, right?
