One of our pups was about 3-4 months old at the time and fell asleep in his food dish. By that I mean he curled up in the food dish and went to sleep. At least it wasn’t his water bowl…
When I had my Huskies, I had one that would do the same as Marmaduke …… paws on each side of the dog dish and his head in the bowl, sound asleep …… great, funny memories …….. :)

Well Phil, at least Marm fell asleep after he finished his meal!! No “messy” cleanup on the kitchen floor!!!
