We lived in the county when I was young 50 years ago and we kids played in the dump behind our property. Many happy hours were spent imagining uses for the âtreasuresâ we would find, even though we were forbidden to bring anything home. ;-)
Way back in the day, as kids we used to love hiking the couple of miles to city dump and spend the day finding âtreasuresâ and throwing broken bottles at the rats. Any âtreasureâ we found had to be pretty special for us to carry it all the way home. At which point our mothers would usually put it right back in the trash.
oh man, there was a nice little cast iron tub at my dumpâs metal pile the other day â I am hoping to build a house and I wanted to grab it SOOO Bad !! Way too heavy for me, though, and couldnât find anyone to help :(

I prefer to call it what it is. Garbage.

I bet the cost of a ticket out of there is going to be at least 10x the price of the ticket there.

Youâll definitely find some bric-a-brac here, but youâll also find a lot of broke.

It is unique, unless you shop at a dump every day.
