That’s what fan fiction is for. You can rewrite the story how you would like it. Of course it doesn’t matter since it’s not your story but it may help give you satisfaction.
You become so involved with the story and characters, you feel you are pert of them. It is a form of mourning when it ends. SK “The Stand” 1500 pages you become part of the story, same with all 4700 pages of the Dark Tower series.
That’s how it goes sometimes, Gil. I sometimes think that the better the story, the more sorry you are to see it end and no ending is then good enough. But sometimes, it seems the author ran out of ideas and didn’t know how to end it any better. Win some, lose some. I just started what I feel is going to be a great book with great characters. Can’t wait to see where it takes me!
