My dogie is quite slow at eating her evening meal. She acts as if this meal may not live up to her expectations. I rarely give her dry food only. Most times, it’s as close to a culinary delight as possible full of additions to scintillate the canine tongue.
When I brought my Cain home from the pound, I was told, “He’ll eat anything. He was starved before rescue, so he’s just grateful to have food.” He’s the pickiest dog I’ve ever had! If he hasn’t had it before, has won’t even consider trying it until the third or fourth time it’s offered to him, ever if the other dogs are eating it – and he may never accept it again after the first time he takes it. (I wouldn’t trade him for anything, though.)

Wanna bet? Try to get a dog to take a pill. You could hide it in a 4 inch thick steak, and they’ll spit out the pill and eat the steak.
