    Bonus info:

The recordholders before Ronnie and Donnie were Chang and Eng Bunker, the world famous Siamese twins (and I mean actually Siamese) who toured with Barnum. Like the Bunkers, the Galyons spent several decades on tour as a sideshow, where they made most of their savings.

Mountain stone wētā are pretty large even ignoring their freezability, averaging about 2.5 inches from tail to head. The heaviest insect species, the giant wētā, is closely related, and is around 4 inches. Both are native to New Zealand.

The holes in Swiss cheese (and other varieties) are actually bubbles of gas formed during the fermentation process. Because the formation of bubbles requires tiny particles as starting points, improved hygienic practices over the years have made blind blocks more and more common as contaminants have been removed more and more thoroughly.

Blind cheese? Is this where the song, “Three blind mice” came from? Maybe they were just trying to find blind cheese. ☺️
