My sister does this. Then she gives them all to the dog early because she can’t wait, and then goes out to buy more for Christmas. So, Guisewite is right on the money (pun) with this one. The dog’s favorite toy? A rock from the yard that is in the house and guarded by said pampered 13 year old dachshund.

I know a lady that spends $60 to $70 every Christmas on her one dog. and yes she has school aged children at home too. Ridiculus.
