You have to remember, Echo…Norm is not most people…
Let’s hope Norm is not the norm.
Is that a snake next to the branch that Norm’s going to fall on?
I read something like this many years ago, when two Boy Scouts were hiking, and one mistook a root for a snake.
Wad it the root or the shoelace?
He’d probably wind up picking up a snake to kill a stick with.
The woods are a lot thicker here. I hate stepping on a stick or a vine that “feels” like a snake.
Reminded me of this Golden Oldie:
“Why are you running?”
“I saw a snake but it turned out to be a stick.”
“So why are you running?”
“Because the stick I picked up to hit it with turned out to be a snake.”
But then most people know how to tie their shoe laces.
