Or more Obsolete Stores. Used to be if you wanted to buy shoes you’d go to a shoe store. If you wanted to buy books you’d go to a book store. If you wanted to buy records you’d go to a record store. So if you wanted to buy obsolete things you’d go to an Obsolete store.

With planned obsolesce they are not worth putting out for resale as antiques.

every year we have an “obsolete” sale. most people call it a garage sale but that’s sooooo old fashion. →_→ ←_←

I knew I was getting old when I went to an antiques show at the mall where all the goods were in shallow, glass-topped cases on rows of tables. There, nestled in among the pocket watches and straight razors, was a slide rule…

i wanted to but i just can’t seem to find any. they must be…. what’s the word I’m looking for…

All the new stuff doesn’t work anymore and would cost more to fix than to buy a new one. Thus the antique garbage bin, and not an antique store.

Long time ago, in upstate NY, I saw this sign outside a store—“WE BUY JUNK & SELL ANTIQUES”. Think about it…

There is a very fine line between antique,and old junk.

Nah. Some stuff just becomes garbage or junk.
