This is probably a real thing. You can get better deals on-line! An Arby’s employee told me that their 4-$10 was 5-$10 if I had ordered it on-line!

I say the customers dictate the method of ordering. You made us use QR codes, now we will force you to learn semaphore.

had lunch at an italian place we hadn’t visited for a while and they had placards on every table that explained how to use their app to order your meal. as far as we could tell, the wait staff didn’t have any less work (because basically nobody was using the app)…

To accommodate those who have totally lost verbal communication skills, restaurants will accept texted orders.
