No time to start adulting now
It’s a dirty job kid, but you’re parents don’t want to do it.
Putting it back (or replacing it with another book) is kinda the way they work. It’s expected, one might say.
Betty and Bub must be fast readers! Or maybe Alex’s book has very large print.
Slip it back under the cover of darkness. Wear sunglasses, it seems more adventurous. The wounds from bumping into things will heal, eventually.
I prefer to contribute banned books, not bad books.
The little library next to the school that’s not that far from me is now gone. Someone put up a sign that says “no more free books, move along”. Just sad that it’s being taken away like that.
