Ex wife was always late getting ready for the opera that she insisted we attend. After twice being late and having to sit in the lobby until the first intermission I just left and got there on time and got to watch without having to wait. We paid too much money to sit in the lobby for 30 45 minutes. Later realized she was late to anything we went to out of disrespect for me. Present wife is not into getting dressed up too much for events we go to unless it’s the Highland Games or bagpiper stuff and then we have traveled to a hotel the day before and we can get all up in our tartans and kilt.

Are you always on time?
No. - And I do not know of anyone alive or dead who always is or was.

I’m never late, but sometimes it takes me longer than others to be on time.

I strive to be on time, and to let you know if I’m going to be late.
