When I lived in the Laurentians they paved the really steep hill and I would take my wagon up and see how far I could coast, the goal was the railway tracks in the village. How I never got hurt is beyond me
I miss the 50s and early 60s before insurance companies and lawyers ruled the world. Morons and idiots used to glean themselves out at a young age back then.

Makes me wonder how we survived some of the daring do’s, and w/o helmets, knee pads, etc.
