You don’t bring your pets to someone else’s house unless specifically invited to do so, and you do not bring them if they are so destructive.
Shouldn’t have let them in. Dogs either.

I honestly don’t believe that people would bring their dogs to someone’s house without a specific request; unless they were service dogs. Which these apparently were not.
