The Romans named the days of the week after their gods. The Scandinavians thought that was a good idea so they renamed the days after their own gods, choosing equivalents. Mars’ Day became Tyr’s day, for example. But the Scandinavian pantheon had no equivalent of Saturn, so they just left it alone. That’s why we have Saturn’s Day.
