When I was in the eighth grade, there was a boy in my class who would often skip out and be found roaming the halls. One day, the teacher asked him what job he thought he’d be able to get “walking up and down the halls of a building all day.” The answer he gave was “Security Guard!” The teacher was unable to make a response to that. I’ve always wondered what became of him and if he ever actually ended up in that occupation after all.
