Low key is how we refer to this town…..

I remember that place. I spent a week there one night.

Nothing but the dead and dying back in that little town.

Big doings at Roz’ Roost?

Everyone is still stuck in the Roundabout.

And the town square was a thing not a person.

In my little town, the roadside stop was the park and parking lot…

I live in San Diego a tourist town. This is the best time of year here. It is still warm but not hot, the ocean hasn’t gotten cold yet, the tourists are gone so you can get to the beaches and or your favorite restaurant and or the Zoo, the rains haven’t started. We’re just going to chill here until about Halloween. Then we may have to put on our winter uniform: Down Jacket, shorts, flip flops.

My town was so dull they held the annual paint drying contest there.

Apparently most travelers are following Yogi’s advice and taking the fork in the road.

Instead of a stopover, it’s a “step over”.

That town needed a stent, not a bypass.

I just moved Back Home to a place in flyover country where watching the corn grow is an actual activity.

Business just abandons the town and makes the bypass one long strip mall.

I was born in a small town…
