It’s a comic strip, but when I was a kid, I never had that many toys out at once, let alone having that many at one time. Had one toy that I was playing with. It got put away when I got another out.

What’s this? Mr. Anderson ran out of “real” dog stories sent from his “readers”? :P :P :P

What toys to play with ? I had an electric train that Mom allowed to be set up in the living room. If I were inside, I played with that but it couldn’t be put up when I stopped playing with it. It was there until we moved and it then went into the basement.

I remember when gas was cheap, my father used to go “for a ride” just tooling around town. Nowadays, people have to decide whether to fill up their vehicle or buy food.
