Duke is doing surprisingly well so far, so this strip makes a lot of sense. Of course, some colleges are talking about women’s college basketball.

Sports come on, TV goes off.

And billions aren’t talking about either.

Or you can be a Chicago Bears fan and start thinking about the draft after the first game of the year.

2 coworkers were discussing colleges for their kids. One said that he’d never send his son to ‘x’ college because they didn’t have a good football team. I asked if his son played football and he answered ‘no’. I looked at him for a moment and then told him that I hoped that his son wasn’t as stupid as he was.

In Gil Thorp you know it’s basketball season if they are playing baseball.

In a my neck of the woods, most of our college football teams (we have a respectable number) are doing well. One women’s basketball team that had a deep NCAA tournament run was picked though to win their conference on their media day. We have much to look forward to either way.
