This one is very close to home. In the mid-60’s my wife and I went to the drive-inn to see ‘Shenandoah’ with Jimmy Stewart. The Civil War was a bit more violent than she was ready for and she buried her head in my lap. I finally told her she could come up that all was calm they were just riding through the woods. JUST AS SHE CAME UP a shot rang out and Jimmy Stewarts youngest son was hit in the forehead. Blood and brains everywhere. I don’t think we stayed for the rest of the movie.

I loved the movie “Shenandoah”, to bad she missed the end when the Boy entered the church. By the way, the Boy was Jimmy’s youngest son.
I’m from VT the state that was “blessed?” with Dean as Governor. So releaved he didn’t make it to be President.
